Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on QA Lead with 10+ years of expertise in Manual Software Testing to lead and manage the Quality Assurance function for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, deep understanding of QA processes and methodologies, and proven experience managing QA teams in Agile environments.
Experience in the Banking and Lending domain will be a significant advantage. The candidate should be comfortable working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and project managers to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers to deliver high-quality software releases.
* Define, implement, and continuously improve QA processes, standards, and best practices.
* Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
* Perform hands-on manual testing for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
* Review and validate functional, integration, regression, and system testing activities.
* Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
* Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Grooming, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
* Track, report, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
* Drive quality metrics, test execution reports, defect analysis, and release readiness assessments.
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements to enhance product quality.
* Ensure compliance with organizational QA standards and industry best practices.
* Coordinate testing efforts across multiple projects and releases.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
* 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with strong expertise in Manual Testing.
* Proven experience leading and managing QA teams.
* Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman.
* Experience with Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and project collaboration.
* Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Expertise in creating test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test reports.
* Experience in defect management and quality reporting.
* Understanding of integration, regression, system, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
Domain Experience
* Banking and Financial Services domain experience preferred.
* Lending, Loan Origination, Loan Management, Credit Processing, or related domain knowledge is highly desirable.
Leadership & Process Skills
* Strong QA process expertise and quality governance experience.
* Ability to establish and improve testing frameworks, standards, and best practices.
* Experience managing distributed or cross-functional QA teams.
* Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.

* Experience working in enterprise-scale Agile delivery environments.
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
