Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and technically skilled candidates for the Ingot Casting Department. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring casting operations, maintaining quality standards, handling production activities, and ensuring smooth furnace and casting processes in compliance with safety and operational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Casting Operations
- Monitor and supervise ingot casting operations and production activities.
- Ensure proper mold preparation, pouring, cooling, and handling processes.
- Coordinate with furnace, melting, and production teams for smooth workflow.
- Maintain production targets while ensuring quality standards.
- Monitor process parameters and report deviations if any.
Quality & Process Control
- Conduct chemical and physical testing of raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain casting quality and minimize rejection rates.
- Prepare and maintain production and quality reports.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and process guidelines.
- Assist in process improvement and production optimization activities.
Maintenance & Coordination
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for machine and equipment upkeep.
- Monitor casting equipment performance and report breakdowns.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and workplace safety in the casting area.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of metal casting and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of quality control and production planning.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and production environments.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Educational Qualification
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry
OR
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) / B.E. Mechanical Engineering
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Fresher or experienced candidates from foundry, metal, steel, or manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of furnace operations, casting techniques, or metallurgical processes will be an added advantage.
