What You'll Do
The Senior Technical Manager is a hands-on senior engineer and technical leader responsible for designing, building, and owning enterprise-grade applications. This is a Chapter Lead role — meaning the individual both leads the technical chapter (standards, practices, engineering culture) and remains deeply hands-on in architecture and implementation.
This role is part of a cross-functional Agile squad in the Enterprise Services portfolio — including the Meetings & Events, Security & Travel squads — working closely with Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, production-ready solutions.
The individual will lead the technical design and implementation of applications leveraging Python, .NET Core and React. The role demands a strong ownership mindset, deep technical expertise across tech stack, and the ability to guide and grow other engineers while remaining fully hands-on.
Your Responsibilities
Chapter Leadership

Setting technical standards, driving code/design reviews, mentoring engineers, and building a high-performing chapter culture.

Act as the technical lead for application development, owning solutions, design decisions, and implementation while remaining fully hands-on.

Align stakeholders on technical trade-offs and represent engineering perspective in cross-functional planning.

Partner with Agile teams to ensure timely delivery, continuous improvement, and alignment with non-functional requirements (scalability, performance, reliability, cost optimization).
Application Development

Develop and maintain enterprise-grade APIs and microservices using .NET Core for high-throughput, integration-heavy enterprise service scenarios.

Setting integrations with SaaS applications

Apply security, privacy, and compliance best practices including data protection, access control.

Identify technical risks early, propose mitigation strategies, and contribute to the broader ES roadmap.

What You'll Bring
Experience & Background

12+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications.

7+ years of hands-on experience in Python, .Net Core, React
-
Proven experience leading engineering chapters or technical teams while remaining hands-on.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset.

Self-starter who can operate independently while leading others in a collaborative team environment

Comfortable owning ambiguous problem spaces and driving solutions end-to-end.

Core Technical Skills — .NET Core & Python

Strong hands-on expertise in both .NET Core and Python for application development.

Ability to architect and build services, APIs, and data pipelines in either stack depending on use-case requirements.

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, Identity management and cloud-native integration patterns across both ecosystems.

Good to have experience with AWS cloud services
