Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities: Finance & Accounting Front Line Manager 1. Team Management Supervise and guide finance and accounting staff in daily tasks. Assign workloads, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met. Provide training and support to team members to enhance skills. Conduct performance evaluations and manage employee development. 2. Financial Operations Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions. Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, payroll, and expense reports. Monitor cash flow and support working capital management. 3. Financial Reporting & Compliance Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and summaries for accuracy and compliance. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and company policies. Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and data. 4. Budgeting and Forecasting Support budgeting processes by collecting data and preparing budget reports. Monitor actual expenses against budget and report variances to senior management. Assist with financial forecasting to guide business planning. 5. Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies in finance and accounting processes. Recommend and implement improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency. Facilitate automation and use of financial software/tools to streamline tasks. 6. Stakeholder Communication Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Provide financial data and insights to support business decisions. Report regularly to senior finance managers on team performance and financial status. 7. Risk Management and Controls Monitor compliance with internal financial policies and procedures. Identify potential financial risks and help develop mitigation strategies. Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping to support audits and regulatory compliance.
