Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Position Description:

Linux expert with Strong Knowledge on GCP with 8+ Years of experience with Good Communication Skills

Key Responsibilities:

. Administer, manage, and support Linux-based environments (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE)
. Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure on GCP
. Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
. Implement and manage cloud-native services, networking, and storage solutions
. Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
. Ensure system security, patching, and compliance with industry standards
. Manage CI/CD pipelines and integrate cloud-native DevOps practices
. Handle incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and resolution
. Work closely with application teams and stakeholders for environment readiness
. Support DR (Disaster Recovery) and backup strategies
. Maintain system documentation and SOPs

Must Have skills :

. Strong expertise in Linux System Administration
. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
. Must have at least one of the following certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps Administrator / DevOps Engineer Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect / Associate Cloud Engineer
. Strong knowledge of: Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers, VPNs) Storage (EBS, S3, GCS, Persistent disks) Security (IAM roles, policies, firewalls)
. Experience with automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef
. Shell scripting (Bash) and/or Python scripting skills
. Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
. Understanding of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana)
. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
