Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Tech Lead - PHP Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for guiding a team of developers in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient web applications. As a Tech Lead, you will play a crucial role in setting technical direction, ensuring high-quality code, and delivering successful projects on time. Your expertise in PHP development, coupled with your leadership abilities, will drive innovation and excellence within the team.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in PHP development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter. A strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) is a plus.
Database Management: Proficient in working with MySQL or PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and complex queries.
Version Control: Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaboration tools like Jira or Trello.
API Development: Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration, with experience in developing and consuming APIs.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Lead the development team in designing, coding, testing, and deploying PHP-based web applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Project Management: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from initial planning to final deployment, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Code Quality: Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high code quality and ensure consistency across the team. Identify areas for improvement and implement processes to enhance code efficiency and performance.
System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve development processes and application performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet business objectives.
API Development and Integration: Led the development and integration of RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between different systems and platforms.
Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve complex technical issues and bugs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of applications.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in PHP development. Encourage and lead the adoption of new tools, techniques, and practices within the team.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes, ensuring that all team members have access to up-to-date information.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key point of contact for technical inquiries from stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on project progress, risks, and solutions.
