We are seeking an experienced and dedicated X-Ray Technician to join our Radiology Department. The candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining high standards of imaging quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Position patients correctly and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure radiation safety protocols and infection control practices are followed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Coordinate with radiologists and clinical teams for timely reporting and patient care.
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging Technology from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician in a hospital or diagnostic centre.
- Valid registration/licensure as applicable under local regulations.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
