EY Parthenon (EYP) - Corporate Finance (CF)
As part of our EYP – CF group, you will help clients understand the value of their business, securities, intellectual property, capital equipment, intangibles and provide advisory services. The group is comprised of several key areas, including business valuation, decision modelling, transactions real estate, infrastructure advisory and quantitative finance and economics groups.
The opportunity
We are looking for Manager with expertise in decision modelling and analytics to join EYP-CF. Over the past decade, financial modelling in the corporate finance space has become even more important given the explosion of data and the ability to take decisions using additional data. As a result, our EYP-CF group not only helps create social and economic value for our clients but also helps clients take informed strategic investment or transformation decisions and manage capital better. In short, we help clients with their corporate finance modelling traditional as well as newer technologies to meet client’s needs.

In this role, you will be part of a high-impact team that partners with clients to design, review, and enhance financial models supporting financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, transaction advisory, and strategy modeling. You will leverage advanced analytics and sophisticated modelling techniques—such as scenario analysis, valuation modelling, and data-driven forecasting—to deliver actionable insights that enable clients to make faster, smarter, and more strategic decisions.
Your key responsibilities
- Steer engagement teams, help executing Decision Modelling services which support key choice makers in developing and implementing their transaction, financing or operational conclusions

Understand client requirements and build decision models that help support clients with various aspects of corporate finance conclusion making process

Be a part of modelling transactions (mergers and acquisitions), financial feasibility of projects, corporate and debt restructuring and valuation

Identify issues and propose strategies related to the procedures executed

Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients and winning repeat business

Apply advanced analytics and scenario modeling techniques to evaluate strategic options and quantify financial impact under varying assumptions.
- Utilize tools such as AI, Python, Excel, VBA, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to deliver dynamic, insightful models and dashboards for clients.
- Perform sensitivity analysis, stress testing, and forecasting to support clients in making informed decisions under uncertainty.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial models with operational and market data, ensuring holistic and actionable insights.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experienced in reviewing/building complex financial models based in MS Excel / VBA, PowerBI, Alteryx, R and / or Python

Knowledge in any of the following sectors will be added advantage – Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Power and Utilities and Financial Services

Experienced in building tools to process data using technologies like R/Python in the corporate finance modelling space will be an added advantage

Excellent thoughtfulness, project-management, communication, interpersonal, and teaming skills

The ability to work within a given budget and schedule, providing top-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

A post graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting (CA) or Business OR related coursework is advantageous

Achievement of or significant progress towards a CFA, FRM, PRM or PMP designation is a plus, with an expectation of the completion of one designation within a given timeframe
To qualify for the role, you
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a national valuation firm or accounting firm’s business modelling practice, or in quantitative management or litigation consulting, investment banking, private equity/venture capital or commercial banking

Should have demonstrated interest in the areas of corporate finance, decision modeling and analytics
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Should have developed / reviewed models in Excel/VBA. Additional skills in Power Query, PBI & Alteryx /Python related financial modelling is a plus.
