About the Role
National Institute of Education and Development (NIED) is seeking an experienced Internet of Things (IoT) Trainer to deliver industry-oriented training in IoT technologies, embedded systems, sensor networks, cloud computing, smart devices, and automation solutions. The trainer will be responsible for developing technical competencies among trainees through classroom instruction, hands-on projects, and real-world applications.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in IoT systems, hardware-software integration, and emerging digital technologies while being capable of mentoring learners for careers in Industry 4.0 and smart technology sectors.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery
- Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on IoT technologies and applications.
- Deliver hands-on training using IoT development boards, sensors, and communication modules.
- Develop lesson plans, practical assignments, and project-based learning activities.
- Demonstrate real-world IoT applications in smart homes, smart cities, healthcare, agriculture, and industrial automation.
- Guide trainees in designing and implementing IoT-based projects.

Assessment & Documentation
- Conduct practical evaluations, assignments, and assessments.
- Monitor trainee attendance, performance, and progress.
- Maintain training records, project reports, and documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly training reports.
- Ensure compliance with project guidelines and quality standards.
Industry & Placement Support
- Assist trainees in developing industry-relevant projects.
- Support placement-linked training initiatives.
- Organize workshops, industry visits, and guest lectures.
- Guide candidates on career opportunities in IoT and emerging technologies.
- Support interview preparation and technical skill development.
Required Qualifications

- Relevant certifications in IoT, Embedded Systems, Cloud Computing, Networking, or Industry 4.0 technologies will be preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of industry and/or training experience in:

- Experience in Skill Development, NSDC, PMKVY, CSR, Government, or Employment-linked Training Programs will be preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of IoT architecture and ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and embedded controllers.
- Understanding of sensors, actuators, and communication protocols.
- Experience with cloud platforms and IoT dashboards.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and wireless communication technologies.
- Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot IoT solutions.
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts for connected devices.
- Familiarity with Python, C/C++, or other programming languages used in IoT applications.
Soft Skills

Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
