Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced CMP Equipment Engineer to support 300mm wafer fab operations. The role involves equipment maintenance, installation support, process interaction, and continuous improvement to ensure high tool uptime and stable production performance.

Roles And Responsibilities

Support new tool installation, hook-up, and commissioning activities.
Lead equipment qualification (T1–T3) and ensure readiness for production.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for installation and upgrades.
Manage pumps, slurry systems, and abatement systems setup and control.
Perform tool fault diagnosis and recovery to minimize downtime and meet production targets.
Execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) with on-time and first-time-right completion.
Drive actions to eliminate repeat failures and improve MTBF.
Monitor and improve MTTR, uptime, and tool availability.
Perform data entry and maintenance in systems (e.g., Semisoft / MES / data warehouse).
Maintain accurate records of PM, breakdowns, and corrective actions.
Prepare reports on tool performance and improvement initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria

Mandatory Skills:

M.Tech/M.S./B.Tech/Diploma
>5 years of experience in CMP tools
Hands-on experience in CMP tools (300mm platform)(e.g., AMAT Mirra, Reflexion, Ebara CMP systems – preferred)
Strong understanding of:
- CMP process fundamentals (slurry chemistry, pad conditioning, polishing)
- Equipment subsystems: platen, carrier head, slurry delivery, vacuum systems
- Defectivity control and post-CMP cleaning basics
- Knowledge of SPC, MTBF, MTTR, and equipment KPIs
- Ability to read schematics, P&ID, and equipment manuals

Preferred Skills :

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
