Full job description

The Content Manager at GemsNY will help drive online sales and brand engagement by creating, managing, and optimizing digital content & will be responsible for developing content strategies, proof reading all types of content, managing product listings (descriptions, images, SEO), maintaining the editorial calendar, and analyzing performance data to improve user experience and increase traffic etc

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Creation: Develop and implement content strategies aligned with marketing goals. Create high-quality, SEO-optimized product descriptions, category pages, blog posts, and marketing materials.
Product Listing Management: Oversee product information to ensure accuracy, appeal, and consistency across the online store.
SEO/SEM Optimization: Utilize SEO techniques and keyword research to maximize traffic. Use tools like Google Analytics and Ahrefs to monitor site traffic and user engagement.
Brand Consistency: Ensure all content adheres to company branding, style guides, and voice.
Digital Marketing & Social Media: Create and schedule social media content and manage all marketing campaigns.
Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, graphic design, and web development teams to launch campaigns and update site content.
Performance Tracking: Analyze sales performance, conversion rates, and ROI to prepare monthly reports and optimize strategies.
Proof Reading: Proof read the various types of content to ensure correctness
AI/Automation involvement: Leveraging AI/Automation to a large extent

Requirements & Skills

Experience: 6+ years in a similar role in e-commerce or digital marketing industry preferably
Technical Skills: Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, Magento, or Drupal. Understanding of HTML and SEO best practices.
Education Preference: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, or Business Administration.
Capabilities: Strong creative writing/editing skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
