Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced IoT Integration Software Engineer to design, develop, and support cloud-native IoT integration solutions for industrial and digital products. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in AWS IoT services, telemetry ingestion pipelines, edge-to-cloud integrations, asset modelling, and industrial IoT architectures.
This role requires hands-on experience with AWS IoT SiteWise, AWS IoT Greengrass, telemetry ingestion, asset mapping, and industrial device integration. The candidate will act as a subject matter expert (SME) for IoT data integration and collaborate closely with hardware, platform, and application engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
IoT Integration & Data Ingestion
Design, develop, and maintain IoT ingestion pipelines from edge devices to cloud platforms.
Implement secure and scalable telemetry ingestion architectures.
Build integrations between industrial devices and AWS IoT services.
Develop APIs and application-ready interfaces for IoT data consumption.
AWS IoT SiteWise
Serve as the technical expert for AWS IoT SiteWise.
Create and manage asset models, hierarchies, measurements, transforms, and metrics.
Design scalable asset structures representing physical industrial systems.
Ensure proper mapping between industrial assets and digital models.
AWS IoT Greengrass & Edge Integration
Design and deploy AWS IoT Greengrass solutions for edge computing workloads.
Enable local processing, filtering, buffering, and secure communication between edge devices and AWS cloud services.
Support offline operation and synchronization scenarios.
Asset Mapping & Telemetry
Work with hardware and OT teams to map physical devices into digital asset models.
Ensure telemetry quality, correctness, and consistency.
Develop validation frameworks and diagnostics tools for data ingestion monitoring.
Troubleshoot ingestion failures and telemetry issues across environments.
Collaboration & Documentation
Collaborate with platform, hardware, and application teams.
Define and maintain standards for:
Asset Modelling
Data Contracts
Telemetry Schemas
Integration Patterns
Document architecture, integrations, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
4–7 years of software development or integration experience.
Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
Experience with cloud-based IoT and telemetry platforms.
Understanding of event-driven and streaming architectures.
Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on AWS IoT SiteWise implementation experience.
Experience with AWS IoT Greengrass deployments.
Industrial IoT (IIoT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
