About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Marketing & Sales Intern to support our marketing, lead generation, customer acquisition, and sales activities.

The intern will get hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media marketing, lead generation, customer communication, sales outreach, CRM management, and business development.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in Digital Marketing, Sales, Business Development, or Startup Operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Digital Marketing

Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns.
Manage and create content for social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
Research industry trends, competitors, customers, and target markets.
Assist with SEO, keyword research, and website content optimization.
Create basic marketing creatives, posts, presentations, and promotional materials.
Support email marketing and WhatsApp marketing campaigns.
Monitor campaign performance and prepare basic reports.
Identify new digital channels for generating leads and brand awareness.

2. Lead Generation

Research and identify potential customers and businesses.
Build and maintain prospect databases.
Generate leads through LinkedIn, social media, email, WhatsApp, online directories, and other channels.
Qualify leads based on business requirements and potential.
Maintain accurate lead information in the CRM.
Follow up with prospects regularly.

3. Sales & Business Development

Contact potential customers through calls, email, WhatsApp, and social media.
Understand customer requirements and introduce relevant company products/services.
Schedule product demos and meetings for the sales/business development team.
Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and presentations.
Follow up with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
Maintain records of conversations, follow-ups, and sales opportunities.
Support the team in converting qualified leads into customers.
Collect customer feedback and communicate it to the product/sales team.

4. Market Research

Research potential industries, companies, and customer segments.
Analyze competitor products, pricing, positioning, and marketing strategies.
Identify new business opportunities.
Prepare market research reports and prospect lists.
Track current digital marketing and technology trends.

5. CRM & Reporting

Update leads, contacts, activities, follow-ups, and sales status in the CRM.
Maintain daily and weekly activity reports.
Track lead conversion and campaign performance.
Prepare basic dashboards and reports for management.
Ensure timely follow-up with assigned leads.

Required Skills

Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media.
Basic understanding of sales and lead generation.
Good research and internet skills.
Ability to communicate confidently with customers.
Basic knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.
Willingness to make sales calls and communicate with prospects.
Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
Good organizational and follow-up skills.

Good to Have

Knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Marketing, or Email Marketing.
Experience with Canva or other basic design tools.
Knowledge of CRM tools.
Basic understanding of Google Analytics / Search Console.
Experience managing social media pages.
Previous internship or college project in marketing or sales.
Interest in technology, SaaS, AI, websites, or software products.

The intern's performance may be evaluated based on:

Number of qualified leads generated.
Number of prospecting activities completed.
Follow-up completion rate.
Meetings/demos scheduled.
Lead-to-opportunity conversion.
Sales opportunities created.
Social media/content activities completed.
Marketing campaigns supported.
CRM data accuracy.
Quality and consistency of weekly reports.
