Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Web Application Developer with strong experience in Microsoft technologies to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, SQL Server, Entity Framework, Azure Cloud, and Azure DevOps, along with a solid understanding of application security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API.
Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, and Bootstrap.
Create and optimize database solutions using SQL Server 2016 or later.
Utilize Entity Framework for data access, migrations, and ORM-based development.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on Microsoft Azure.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage source control using Azure DevOps.
Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Apply secure coding practices and implement security controls to protect applications and data.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in production and non-production environments.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Backend Development

Strong proficiency in C#
Experience with .NET Core
Expertise in ASP.NET MVC

Frontend Development

Strong knowledge of JavaScript
Experience with jQuery and jQuery UI
Experience with Bootstrap 2+ and responsive web design

API Development

Hands-on experience building and consuming ASP.NET Web APIs
Understanding of REST principles and API security

Database

Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016+
Ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and optimize performance

ORM

Experience with Entity Framework (Code First and Database First approaches)

Cloud & DevOps

Experience with Microsoft Azure services
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, repositories, and release management

Security

Strong understanding of application security principles
Experience implementing:

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and code quality tools.
Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus.
