Job Title: Business Development Manager - Online Projects and Custom Software Products

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at our small but growing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring online projects and custom software product opportunities directly from the market. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our business by identifying new prospects, building strong relationships, and closing deals. This position requires a combination of strong sales skills, technical knowledge, and market awareness to successfully drive revenue and expand our client base.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify and prospect for potential online projects and custom software product opportunities directly from the market.

2. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to stay ahead in the industry.

3. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by actively seeking out and engaging with potential clients.

4. Develop and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers to position our company as a preferred partner.

5. Understand clients' requirements, pain points, and business objectives to effectively propose solutions that address their needs.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, project managers, and executives, to develop customized proposals and deliver excellent client presentations.

7. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to close deals, ensuring a win-win situation for both parties.

8. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitors' activities to provide strategic insights and recommendations to the management team.

9. Achieve and exceed sales targets by consistently meeting or surpassing quarterly and annual revenue goals.

10. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

1. Proven track record of around 3-5 years in business development or sales roles, preferably in the IT/software industry. If you are exceptionally confident and motivated than experience is not the boundary.

2. Strong knowledge and understanding of online projects and custom software products, including web development, mobile applications, e-commerce solutions, or similar technologies.

3. Demonstrated ability to identify and secure new business opportunities through a proactive and strategic approach.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and influence key stakeholders.

5. Results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand clients' needs and propose appropriate solutions.

7. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.

8. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the agility to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

9. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
