About the Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatch Executive to oversee and coordinate the dispatch operations of finished goods and materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate documentation, timely shipments, coordination with logistics partners, and adherence to dispatch schedules while maintaining compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end dispatch process for finished goods, spare parts, and other materials as per delivery schedules.
- Prepare and verify dispatch documentation, including invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, packing lists, transport documents, and gate passes.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Sales teams to ensure readiness of materials for dispatch.
- Ensure accurate packing, labelling, and loading of materials as per customer specifications and company standards.
- Plan and schedule dispatch activities to meet customer delivery timelines.
- Maintain dispatch records and update ERP systems with shipment details and documentation.
- Verify quantities, serial numbers, and specifications of materials before dispatch.
- Handle dispatch-related customer queries and coordinate for resolution of delivery issues.
- Report dispatch delays, shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the concerned departments.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the dispatch area.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or any related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Dispatch Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Management.
- Familiarity with ERP software, MS Excel, and dispatch documentation processes.
- Basic understanding of electrical and electronic products/components will be preferred.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with internal teams and logistics partners.
