We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Technical Trainer specializing in NX CAD/CAM and Mastercam to deliver high-quality technical training programs for students, corporate professionals, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong practical industry experience in CNC programming, CAD/CAM software, and manufacturing processes, along with excellent training and mentoring abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced-level training on NX CAD/CAM and Mastercam software.
- Develop and update training materials, manuals, presentations, and practical assignments.
- Conduct classroom, online, and workshop-based training sessions.
- Provide hands-on practical training in CNC programming, toolpath generation, and post-processing.
- Guide trainees on real-time industrial projects and case studies.
- Assess trainee performance through assignments, tests, and practical evaluations.
- Stay updated with the latest software versions and manufacturing technologies.
- Coordinate with industry partners for practical exposure and placement support.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance related to CAD/CAM applications.
- Mentor junior trainers and support curriculum development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- Certification in NX CAD/CAM and/or Mastercam (preferred).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in CAD/CAM and CNC programming.
- Minimum 2–3 years of training or teaching experience (preferred).
Technical Skills Required
- Strong expertise in:
- 3D Modeling & Assembly (NX)
- Drafting & GD&T
- CAM programming (2-axis, 3-axis, 4-axis & 5-axis machining)
- Toolpath optimization
- Post Processor customization
- CNC Milling & Turning operations
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling.
- Experience in simulation and verification.
- Familiarity with industrial standards and best practices.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong mentoring and coaching abilities.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Attributes
- Industry exposure in automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing sectors.
