Job Summary
Ambrosia is looking for a dynamic, results-driven International Sales Assistant to spearhead our global expansion strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing international distribution networks, retail partnerships, and B2B client accounts across key global markets.
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in international trade, a proven track record of scaling consumer goods (FMCG) or agricultural/food products globally, and the cultural intelligence to navigate diverse international markets. Key Responsibilities1. Market Expansion & Strategic Planning
- Define and execute the international sales strategy to penetrate new geographic regions and scale existing markets.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to analyze international consumer trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments.
- Identify, vet, and onboard high-performing international distributors, importers, brokers, and retail partners.
2. Account Management & Revenue Growth
- Own the entire sales lifecycle—from lead generation and cold outreach to contract negotiation and closing.
- Nurture and grow existing international accounts, ensuring high retention rates and maximizing cross-selling opportunities.
- Set, monitor, and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets, volume quotas, and gross margin goals.
3. Cross-Border Operations & Compliance
- Collaborate closely with supply chain, logistics, and legal teams to ensure seamless international shipping, customs clearance, and import compliance.
- Navigate regional food safety, labeling laws, and certification standards (e.g., FDA, APEDA, ISO, HACCP) relevant to Ambrosia's product portfolio.
- Manage international pricing structures, tariff impacts, and credit risk terms.
4. Brand Representation & Marketing
- Represent Ambrosia at major international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events.
- Partner with marketing teams to adapt promotional strategies and localized collateral to suit regional market preferences.
5. Documentation
- Timely preparation of Documents with all verification from all departments and fulfilling all customer related queries.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in international sales, export management, or global business development, specifically within the Food & Beverage, FMCG, or Agribusiness sectors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Global Acumen: Deep understanding of global supply chains, international trade laws, Incoterms, Letter of Credit (L/C) processes, and export documentation.
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills. Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in a second major business language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, French, Arabic) is highly preferred.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 30–40% of the time.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and ERP systems.
Pay: ₹8,188.55 - ₹33,320.86 per month
