Full job description

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Financial Analyst with a CFA designation to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in investment analysis, financial modeling, and strategic planning. You will be instrumental in guiding data-driven decisions that support our client's growth and financial health.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions

Develop, maintain, and improve complex financial models and forecasting tools

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and present key findings to senior management

Analyze trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement

Perform research and financial / investment due diligence on private and public assets, including early-stage companies, VC funds, and real estate.

Evaluate investment opportunities and support capital allocation decisions

Prepare financial / investment due diligence reports for internal and external clients

Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, sales, product) to support budgeting and forecasting processes

Assist in scenario and sensitivity analysis for key business drivers

Monitor economic, industry, and market trends and assess their impact on the company's financial plans

Support M&A activities, including due diligence, valuation modeling, and integration planning

Job Requirements

Professional Knowledge

CFA Charterholder (required)

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or Master's degree preferred)

5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency with financial planning software and ERP systems
Investment due diligence experience with both public and private companies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Soft Skills

Ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously
Commitment and ability to meet critical business deadlines
Self-starter with strong organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent research and problem-solving skills
