Role Overview
This role is responsible for driving finance transformation, reporting modernization, and advanced analytics across Expense Insights. The AVP will act as a Techno-Functional SME, combining deep financial expertise with strong data, automation, and visualization capabilities to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions. The role requires independent ownership of complex reporting and transformation initiatives while partnering with senior stakeholders across Finance, Business, and Technology teams.
Key Responsibilities – Functional (FP&A & Business Insights)
Manage end-to-end processes including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and expense management.
Deliver monthly management reporting and insights including KPI tracking and performance trends.
Partner with BU CFO teams, Central FP&A, and HR/Benefits teams to support planning cycles.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and cost transparency.
Drive reporting standardization, governance, and data quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities – Technical (Analytics, Automation & Transformation)
Design and develop dashboards and analytics solutions using Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx.
Build automated workflows and data pipelines using Alteryx, SQL, and Excel (VBA/Macros).
Deliver self-service reporting, KPI scorecards, and executive dashboards.
Manage end-to-end data processes across finance systems.
Lead automation and reporting transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability.
Implement data governance, controls, and best practices in reporting platforms.
Transformation & Leadership
Identify and lead process improvement and automation opportunities.
Collaborate with Finance, Technology, and Business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
Mentor team members and promote analytics and automation best practices.
Role Requirements – Functional Expertise
10-14 years of experience in FP&A, Finance Analytics, or Reporting roles.
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and expense management.
Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
Role Requirements – Technical Expertise
Expertise in Power BI (DAX), Tableau, and Alteryx.
Advanced Excel skills including VBA/Macros and automation.
Strong proficiency in SQL and handling large datasets.
Experience building automated reporting pipelines and dashboards.
Education
Preferred Skills
Experience in financial services or global shared services environments.
Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase, SmartView, or Oracle systems.
Exposure to Python or advanced automation tools.
Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics and finance transformation initiatives.
