Position Overview
The Preschool Coordinator will act as the operational backbone of Little Alchemists Preschool — ensuring smooth daily functioning, high academic standards, strong admissions conversion, excellent parent engagement, and impactful brand presence both offline and online.
This is a leadership role requiring strong execution skills, people management, creativity, and ownership mindset.
Key Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership & Curriculum Execution
- Ensure proper implementation of Little Alchemists’ advanced curriculum and monthly theme-based planning.
- Monitor STEM activities and experiential learning sessions.
- Review weekly lesson plans and activity plans.
- Conduct classroom observations and mentor teachers for quality improvement.
- Ensure age-appropriate developmental milestones are being achieved.
- Maintain classroom discipline, hygiene, and safety standards.
2. Admissions & Growth Management
- Handle all admissions enquiries (walk-ins, calls, WhatsApp, social media leads).
- Conduct professional school tours explaining curriculum strengths and USPs.
- Maintain enquiry tracking sheet and follow-up pipeline.
- Convert enquiries into admissions with structured follow-ups.
- Support planning and execution of admission campaigns.
Key Expectation: Strong conversion skills with warmth and confidence.
3. Parent Relationship & Communication
- Be the primary point of contact for parents.
- Manage daily parent communication through WhatsApp groups.
- Organize PTMs, orientations, and workshops.
- Address concerns professionally and proactively.
- Ensure high parent satisfaction and retention.
4. Social Media & Brand Building
- Create monthly content calendar aligned with themes and events.
- Capture and curate classroom activity photos/videos.
- Coordinate posts on Instagram & Facebook.
- Draft engaging captions highlighting child development, STEM activities, and events.
- Support marketing campaigns (Google Ads / seasonal admissions drive).
Goal: Position Little Alchemists as a premium, development-focused preschool in Indore.
5. Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute events like:
- Annual Day
- Sports Day
- Theme Celebrations
- Graduation Ceremony
- Parent Engagement Events
- Coordinate rehearsals, props, communication, and logistics.
- Ensure smooth and professional execution within budget.
6. Team Supervision & Staff Development
- Supervise teachers and support staff.
- Conduct regular staff meetings.
- Mentor teachers for improved classroom engagement.
- Ensure discipline, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Foster a positive and motivated team culture.
7. Administrative & Operational Management
- Maintain student records and documentation.
- Manage attendance and fee coordination (if required).
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies.
- Prepare monthly reports (Admissions, Events, Operations).
- Ensure compliance with safety and preschool standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate/Postgraduate (Education preferred)
- 3–5 years experience in preschool/school coordination or administration
- Strong communication skills (English & Hindi)
- Sales-oriented mindset for admissions conversion
- Social media handling knowledge (Canva, Instagram, Facebook)
- Basic Excel / Google Sheets proficiency
- Leadership and team management skills
