Job Role
Excellent SAP knowledge in S/4HANA in the following area:
1. SAP Material Management (Procurement, Inventory, Logistic invoice varication)
i. Working exposure on important business scenario like: Domestic procurement, Import procurement, Capital purchase, Subcontracting, Stock Transfer, Physical inventory Various return scenario, Split valuation and Vendor Evaluation, Quota Management etc.
ii. Integration knowledge on PP and QM is must.
iii. Integration with Other Modules / systems like SD, PP, QM, PM, FICO,
iv. Taxation knowledge (GST & VAT)
v. Working exposure on MRP
vi. Knowledge on SRM, Ariba solution, BTP will be an added advantage.
vii. Worked on Vendor Invoice Automation process using SAP Open text or any RPA UI Path, Automation Anywhere or SAP iRPA,
viii. Knowledge of Release Strategy, Procurement Controls in SAP S/4 HANA
ix. Prior Experience of working on SOD Compliance and GRC in Procurement area
2. SAP Warehouse and LE Module:
b. Experience in Business Process Designing including transportation zones, Routing, Inbound-Outbound Returns, Warehouse Logistics, Delivery & Transportation, Freight Forwarder integration, Including tracing & tracking and Freight payment, National and International Trade compliance & Reporting,
c. Expierence in working in Transportaiton Management module,
d. Cross functional Expierence working on Logistics Integration with Sales & Distribution and Finance,
e. Worked on implementing a Barcode/ RFID based Warehouse Management system and its integration with SAP LE/ WM module,
2) Responsible for SAP Support and enhancement related to above modules
3) Responsible for SAP Material Management, Inventory, Warehouse Management, EXIM, SRM etc.
4) Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying SAP systems.
5) Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to audit and company policies. Additional responsibility for SAP Material & Warehouse management Module Lead.
a. Periodical Training for the users (Virtually/ Physically)
b. Troubleshooting SAP and related integrated systems,
c. Testing using automated test scripts/ manual test scripts
d. Verification of Master Data and Work flow approval
e. Periodically Monitor the correct usage of functionalities implemented in SAP,
f. Periodical Review of SAP GRC SOD Ruleset
g. Verification and implementation of Internal Financial Controls,
h. Supporting and ensuring smooth Month end, Quarter end and Financial year closing
i. Supporting the Qlik and MIS team in Data mapping, Rules/ Logic definition for developing the Functional Specification,
j. Working exposure on FS design and in Solution designing, cutover and Master data upload tools, Flexible workflow and Fiori
k. Working exposure with Analytics team on procurement related Dashboards and KPIs
6) Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to audit and company policies.
Major Activities
As a Module Lead you will be working closely with respective Module leads of SI partner, Business Core team, Process Champions, other Module leads, Business Process Owners, SAP Head, Project Manager..)
Performs/Review planning, analysis, designing, requirements definition, functional design, development, testing and implementation of IT solutions.
- Work with the Business Core team at respective project location
- Review Business Requirement and its mapping with solution in SAP/ NON SAP Systems,
- Validate the Business Process Document
- Own the BPML for their respective Module,
- Review Functional Specification, Technical Specification,
- Co-Ordinate the Quality review with SAP team
- Review the test Scenarios and ensure that 100% scenarios are covered,
- Review Enterprise structure with all the stake holder.
- Review decision and issue tracker
- Participate in Show & Tell process
- Support business team in preparing KDS.
- Validate Unit Test & UAT Results
- Responsible for performing SIT
- Support / Review SI Partner in preparing Cutover plans/Templates
- Support Business team in preparing cutover data
- Reviews and keeps all project related documentation updated all the times with version control
- Prepares the Minutes of Meeting and continuously reviews the action items and its closure,
- Validate the Master Data cleansing rules, upload template, Post upload verification,
- Provides support, assistance and training to users.
- System Integration with third part system / SAP other module
- Manage Internal / External Audit.
- Manage ALM/CHARM
- Prepare and validate Business Requirement Documents,
- Prepare Functional Specifications
- Have Sign-off from the respective stakeholders,
- Perform Unit Testing for Self Configurations,
- Regular plant / offices visit to support business team
- For Outsourced work:
- Effort Estimation,
- Review Functional and technical Specifications,
- Review Unit Test/ SIT results
- Perform Self/ integration testing,
- Support users in UAT and Sign off
- Responsible for Production Migration
Educational Qualifications,
- Masters In computers applications / MBA /BE from reputed Institute.
Work Experience
- Minimum 3 years of Domain experience as in Internal SAP team in a manufacturing organization.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP MM & WM module,
- 3+ yrs working in a Manufacturing company IT/ SAP Department
- Working exposure SAP S/4 HANA is must
- Exp of at-least 2 SAP implementation and in which one should be HANA implementation
- Worked on at least 2 implementations of NON SAP Logistics modules for Domestic vehicle and Internal Shipment tracking and its integration with SAP is a Must
- Worked on implementation of In-Plant” Vehicle Movement solution and weight bridge automation and it’s integration with SAP is a Must,
- Hands-on working on Analytics Dashboard development (Qliks, Tabalue, SAC, Power BI) with Analytics Developers.
Knowledge and skills
- Must have thorough knowledge of Material Management and WM Module (ECC & HANA)
- Basic Knowledge and hands on integration experience with SAP other modules like PP, QM, PM, FICO
- Knowledge of SRM (ARIBA or any one) and its integration with SAP is a Must,
