About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Architect with strong hands-on development expertise and implementation experience across Salesforce platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, custom development, integrations, deployment strategies, and best practices.
This role requires a combination of technical leadership, solution design, stakeholder communication, and hands-on development to deliver scalable and high-performing Salesforce solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Design & Architecture
- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, and technical architecture discussions.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce technical solutions.
- Define and enforce development standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Development & Implementation
- Lead and contribute to the design, development, customization, and configuration of Salesforce solutions.
- Build and maintain custom solutions using:
- Apex
- Triggers
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Aura Components
- Visualforce
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
Deployment & Release Management
- Own deployment activities across environments.
- Manage data migration and deployment strategies.
- Ensure adherence to automated deployment and CI/CD processes.
- Support environment readiness planning and release management activities.
- Implement deployment best practices and governance standards.
Testing & Support
- Support QA, UAT, Hypercare, and production stabilization phases.
- Collaborate with testing teams to ensure solution quality and performance.
- Participate in defect resolution and root-cause analysis.
Project Delivery & Collaboration
- Provide task-level effort estimation and technical planning.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Follow Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
- Manage multiple workstreams and project priorities when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of Salesforce development and implementation experience.
- Strong expertise in:
- Apex
- Triggers
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Aura Components
- Visualforce
- Proven experience in Salesforce solution design and architecture.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with Salesforce deployment tools, release management, and CI/CD practices.
- Hands-on experience with data migration, environment management, and deployment planning.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working directly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CPQ and CLM platforms, including:
- Conga CPQ
- Conga CLM
- Salesforce CPQ
- Other CPQ/CLM solutions
- Knowledge of callback and extensibility frameworks.
- Experience in application performance benchmarking and optimization.
- Ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exposure to integration frameworks and enterprise application architecture.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of Java, C#, .NET, or AngularJS.
- Experience with DevOps tools and automated deployment frameworks.
- Salesforce certifications such as:
- Salesforce Application Architect
- Salesforce System Architect
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – preferred
- Platform Developer I / II
