L40 - SAP S/4 ABAP and Fiori Full-Stack Software Engineer II
Role Overview: As a SAP S/4 ABAP and Fiori Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will actively engage in your engineering craft, taking a hands-on approach to multiple high-visibility projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering solutions that delight customers and users, while also driving tangible value for Deloitte's business investments. Key Qualifications:
§ A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline. An advanced degree (e.g., MS) is preferred but not required. Experience is the most relevant factor.
§ Good software engineering with strong foundation with the understanding of SAP S/4HANA ABAP, OData services and Core ABAP
§ 6-8 years of proven experience with most of the following:
- Experience in client-facing delivery, enhancements, implementations, or transformation programs is preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP, Core ABAP and Fiori Full Stack development.
- Strong experience in developing and consuming OData services.
- Good working knowledge of SAP BTP services, extensions, and integration concepts.
- Strong experience in Fiori Full Stack development which includes UI, OData and Integrating Fiori app in other apps.
- Experience with ABAP Objects, enhancements, smart forms/adobe forms, reports, interfaces, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and debugging.
- Understanding of S/4HANA architecture, custom code remediation, and performance optimization.
- Exposure to SAP Joule or SAP intelligent technologies / AI-driven SAP capabilities.
- Familiarity with SAP integration tools and cloud extension patterns.
- Experience in end-to-end technical design and production support.
- Prior experience leading small teams or workstreams.
- Strong preference will be given to candidates with some experience in AI/ML and GenAI.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to handle diverse situations, complex projects, and changing priorities, behaving with passion, empathy, and care.
