Khalij Organix is a Delhi-based exporter of premium fertilizers and agricultural inputs. We supply verified, certified products to buyers across domestic and international markets, including farms, distributors, FPOs, and importers. We are at an exciting growth stage and looking for our Business Development Executive to grow alongside the founder and build a long-term career in international trade.
ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You will be the founder's right hand — reaching out to buyers across India and overseas, managing every form of communication, keeping records sharp, and accompanying the founder to client meetings and field visits. You will get end-to-end exposure to the export business: lead generation, negotiation, documentation, certification, logistics, and closure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with potential importers, buyers, and distributors via email, telephone, WhatsApp, and video calls — both domestic and international.
- Manage company presence and inquiries on B2B, C2C, B2C, G2B/B2G, B2B2C, B2E, D2C, P2P, and G2C platforms (IndiaMART, TradeIndia, Alibaba, GlobalTradePlaza, ExportersIndia, APEDA, etc.).
- Respond to buyer queries with quotations, product datasheets, samples, and Certificates of Analysis (COA).
- Maintain accurate, organized records of all leads, follow-ups, conversations, and deals (CRM/spreadsheet-based).
- Schedule and accompany the founder to client meetings (in-person and virtual); take detailed minutes and circulate action points.
- Support field visits, trade exhibitions, and international exhibitions, buyer-seller meets as required.
- Track lead pipeline, follow up consistently, and convert inquiries into confirmed order.
- Coordinate with logistics, certification, and documentation partners for smooth order execution.
- Build and continuously update a database of importers, distributors, agri-businesses, and FPOs.
- Identify new business platforms, tenders, and outreach opportunities
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Graduate in any discipline (preference for International Business, Agriculture, BBA, or related fields, (but not mandatory).
- Communication: Excellent written and spoken English is non-negotiable — you will deal with international clients daily. Hindi proficiency required.
- Tech comfort: MS Excel, Google Workspace, email, WhatsApp Business, AI handling; willingness to learn modern CRM and prospecting tools (Apollo.io, HubSpot, Volza).
- Personal qualities: Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, punctual, and reliable.
- Mobility: Willing to travel within Delhi NCR for client meetings and occasionally outside Delhi for trade fairs and buyer visits.
- Mindset: Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company — not just clock in.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in B2B sales, export, agri-business, or international trade.
- Familiarity with HS codes, export documentation (Invoice, BL, COO), APEDA, FCO, or NPOP procedures.
- Working knowledge of any additional language: Spanish, French, Vietnamese, Arabic, or Mandarin — strong advantage.
Compensation & Growth:
- Probation: 45–55 days with a fixed stipend (to be discussed at interview).
- Post-Probation: ₹40,000/month, subject to performance review.
- Performance Incentives: Commission/bonus on confirmed export orders (to be discussed).
- Career Growth: As the company scales, the right candidate will lead a team and take on Sales Manager responsibilities.
WORKING MODE
Hybrid — a mix of remote work, in-office coordination, and in-person client meetings and field visits as required. Office address- Jamroodpur, GK-I, New Delhi.
