Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and supporting the financial health of facility management operations. The role involves handling client billing, cost control, vendor payments, and financial analysis specific to facility services.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management
- Maintain and oversee daily accounting operations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger and reconciliations
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts
Billing & Revenue Control
- Manage client invoicing for facility management contracts
- Track AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and service billing
- Ensure timely collections and follow-up on receivables
Accounts Payable
- Verify and process vendor invoices
- Manage payments to contractors, suppliers, and service providers
- Maintain proper documentation and approvals
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.)
- Prepare and file statutory returns
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
Cost Control & Analysis
- Monitor operational costs across facility sites
- Analyze expenses and suggest cost-saving measures
- Prepare MIS reports for management review
Team Coordination
- Supervise junior accountants and support staff
- Coordinate with operations and site managers
- Assist management in financial decision-making
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- Professional certification (CA Inter / CMA / ACCA preferred)
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in facility management or service industry
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP)
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Knowledge of GST and taxation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and leadership abilities
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in facility management, real estate, or service-based companies
- Ability to handle multiple sites/accounts
- Familiarity with contract-based billing
- FIVE YEAR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
