We are seeking a passionate Structural Engineer with combined BIM understanding to support and lead design and digital delivery across all project phases. You will work in a team of 130+ professionals in India, collaborating with global experts on building and industrial projects.Our portfolio includes projects such as Copenhagen Airport – Terminal 3 Airside Extension, New Bispebjerg Hospital, HOFOR utilities, and LEGO Manufacturing Facilities—reflecting a combination of engineering quality and digital execution.
COWI's Buildings and Industry team in India is rapidly growing and to support the growth we are looking for a Structural Engineer.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Delivering structural design (feasibility, design basis, detailed design) for buildings and industrial projects
- Ensuring alignment between design intent and BIM models (LOD and BIM Execution Plans)
- Leading multidisciplinary coordination and resolve interface issues
- Managing and review design and BIM deliverables for quality and compliance
- Planning and controlling activities, resources, and timelines
- Leading and mentoring engineers and BIM modelers
- Tracking progress, manage risks, and meet project KPIs and deadlines

You collaborate effectively across disciplines and cultures and take ownership of both technical and delivery outcomes. You are structured, proactive, and comfortable balancing engineering judgment with digital workflows.
Moreover, you will have:
- Bachelor’s in civil engineering / Masters in Structural Engineering
- 4-8 years’ experience in structural design and preferably BIM delivery
- Experience with RCC, steel, precast, and composite structures
- Proficiency in FEM-Design, Robot, ETABS or similar tools
- Strong working knowledge of Revit Structures and Navisworks
- Understanding of BIM processes, LOD, and coordination workflows
- Knowledge of international standards (Eurocode, BS EN, ACI or similar)
- Experience with precast and prefab structures (good to have)
- 3D rebar modelling in Revit (good to have)
- Knowledge of tools like Solibri, Dynamo, Python, or similar (good to have)
