Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Storekeeper to manage inventory, construction materials, tools, and equipment at our project site. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction or real estate projects and possess strong inventory management and record-keeping skills to ensure uninterrupted project operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all material receipts, issues, and stock balances.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming construction materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials to prevent damage, theft, or wastage.
- Issue materials, tools, and equipment to site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and workers as per project requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and report material shortages, excess stock, or discrepancies.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory records.
- Maintain stock registers, inward and outward registers, and inventory documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement, purchase, and site execution teams for material planning and availability.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance within the store area.
- Track material movement and maintain proper documentation for audits.
- Support project teams in efficient material management and site operations.

Candidate Profile
- 1–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper, Store Incharge, Inventory Executive, or Material Coordinator.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, real estate, or project-based environments preferred.
- Familiarity with cement, steel, bricks, electrical, plumbing, finishing, and other construction materials.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and stock reconciliation.
- Comfortable working at construction project sites.
- Ability to coordinate with engineers, contractors, procurement teams, and vendors.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ERP Software (SAP, Tally, Oracle, or similar inventory systems).
- Experience in construction project inventory management.
- Understanding of site safety procedures and material handling standards.
- Experience preparing MIS and inventory reports.
- Knowledge of inward/outward documentation and material reconciliation.
Working Conditions
- On-site role at construction/project locations.
- May require extended working hours depending on project requirements.
- Exposure to construction site and outdoor working conditions.
