The InDesign Operator will be responsible for using Adobe InDesign to create, modify, and finalize design projects for print and digital mediums. This role involves working closely with the design team to ensure the accurate execution of design concepts, adhering to brand guidelines, and ensuring the production of high-quality design materials. The ideal candidate should have expert-level proficiency with InDesign and a strong attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:
Design Production: Utilize Adobe InDesign to create layouts and templates for various print and digital media (brochures, flyers, newsletters, magazines, reports, advertisements, etc.).
Document Layout and Formatting: Implement text and image formatting, adjust styles, and ensure consistency across documents to meet the project’s design specifications.
File Preparation: Prepare and export files for both print and digital production, ensuring files meet the required specifications (resolution, color profiles, bleed, etc.).
Version Control: Manage multiple versions of documents and ensure that the latest version is used for production.
Quality Control: Ensure all design files are free from errors, such as incorrect fonts, image resolution issues, or formatting inconsistencies, before sending for printing or digital publishing.
Collaboration: Work closely with designers, creative directors, and project managers to ensure that projects meet design specifications and deadlines.
Template Management: Create and maintain InDesign templates for recurring projects, ensuring efficiency and consistency across all design outputs.
Software Mastery: Stay up-to-date with the latest versions of Adobe InDesign and other related software tools to ensure the efficient use of design resources.Qualifications:
Education: Degree or certification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience using Adobe InDesign in a professional setting, preferably in a print or digital design environment.
Skills:
Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign (and related Adobe Creative Suite programs like Illustrator and Photoshop).Desired Attributes:
