About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and technically skilled Studio Executive to oversee the daily operations of our production studio. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth execution of video shoots, photography sessions, educational content recordings, live sessions, and other production activities.
The Studio Executive will be responsible for managing studio infrastructure, lighting setups, cameras, audio equipment, production schedules, inventory, and coordination with internal teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of studio operations, excellent planning skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high production standards.
Key Responsibilities
Studio Operations & Production Management
Manage day-to-day studio operations and ensure uninterrupted production activities.
Coordinate and execute video shoots, photography sessions, educational content recordings, interviews, podcasts, and promotional shoots.
Prepare the studio before every shoot and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
Ensure smooth workflow during production and resolve operational challenges promptly.
Assist production teams in achieving shoot objectives within scheduled timelines.
Monitor studio usage and maintain proper scheduling to avoid conflicts.
Lighting & Technical Setup
Set up and manage studio lighting systems for various shooting requirements.
Configure lighting according to production needs, including interviews, product shoots, educational videos, and promotional content.
Assist camera operators and production teams in achieving optimal visual quality.
Ensure proper power management and safe handling of lighting equipment.
Troubleshoot basic lighting and technical issues during shoots.
Camera & Equipment Management
Manage cameras, lenses, tripods, gimbals, microphones, teleprompters, monitors, and related production equipment.
Conduct regular equipment inspections and functionality checks.
Maintain accurate inventory records of all studio assets.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and maintenance of equipment.
Coordinate repairs, servicing, and replacements whenever required.
Monitor equipment usage and prevent damage or misuse.
Shoot Planning & Coordination
Prepare detailed shoot schedules and production plans.
Coordinate with presenters, faculty members, content creators, editors, and production teams.
Arrange shooting requirements, props, furniture, branding materials, and technical resources before production.
Ensure timely availability of all resources required for successful shoot execution.
Manage shoot timelines and ensure projects are completed within deadlines.
Maintain production calendars and booking schedules.
Audio & Recording Management
Set up microphones, audio interfaces, and recording systems.
Ensure high-quality audio recording during shoots.
Monitor audio levels and resolve basic sound-related issues.
Coordinate with editing teams regarding audio quality requirements.
Content Production Support
Assist content creators, trainers, and presenters during recording sessions.
Support live streaming, webinars, and virtual production activities.
Ensure proper background setup, branding placement, and visual consistency.
Monitor production quality standards throughout the recording process.
Studio Maintenance & Facility Management
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the studio.
Maintain shooting floors, recording rooms, storage areas, and equipment spaces.
Monitor electrical systems, backup power arrangements, and safety measures.
Ensure compliance with studio safety guidelines and operational procedures.
Manage studio access and coordinate with vendors when required.
Inventory & Asset Management
Maintain records of equipment, accessories, consumables, and production materials.
Track equipment movement and usage.
Manage procurement of studio supplies and operational requirements.
Conduct periodic stock verification and inventory audits.
Prepare reports regarding equipment status and maintenance requirements.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain studio operation reports and production records.
Prepare equipment checklists and maintenance logs.
Generate reports related to studio utilization and operational efficiency.
Support management in planning future studio requirements and improvements.
Team Coordination & Communication
Collaborate with marketing, creative, academic, and production teams.
Coordinate with external vendors, freelancers, and service providers when required.
Provide operational support during special events, campaigns, and live productions.
Ensure effective communication among all stakeholders involved in production activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
Diploma or Certification in Media Production, Photography, Videography, Broadcasting, or related fields will be an advantage.
Freshers with strong technical knowledge and passion for media production are encouraged to apply
