Job Summary
The HR Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day human resource operations across sales, service, spare parts, accounts, and administrative departments of the dealership. The role includes recruitment, onboarding, attendance management, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, employee engagement, training coordination, and maintaining employee records to ensure smooth workforce management. The position supports dealership growth by attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for Sales Executives, Service Advisors, Technicians, Drivers, Accounts Staff, CRM Executives, and Back-office personnel.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate screening, and selection processes.
- Conduct joining formalities, document verification, and employee induction.
- Maintain manpower planning and vacancy tracking reports.
2. Employee Records & HR Administration
- Maintain employee personal files and HR documentation.
- Update employee database, attendance records, leave records, and shift schedules.
- Prepare appointment letters, confirmation letters, increment letters, and other HR communications.
- Generate monthly HR MIS reports and manpower reports.
3. Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Coordinate with Accounts Department for payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, Labour Laws, and Shops & Establishment regulations.
- Maintain statutory registers and employee records.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
4. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Address employee grievances and workplace concerns.
- Foster positive employee relations and workplace discipline.
- Organize employee engagement activities, welfare programs, and celebrations.
- Support retention initiatives and employee satisfaction programs.
5. Performance Management & Training
- Monitor probation and confirmation processes.
- Assist department heads in performance appraisal activities.
- Coordinate technical, sales, and behavioral training programs.
- Maintain training records and effectiveness reports.
6. HR Support for Dealership Operations
- Coordinate HR activities across showroom, workshop, spare parts, and field sales teams.
- Support workforce planning during sales campaigns and service drives.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and dealership standards.
- Assist management in implementing HR policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resource Management preferred.
- 1–3 years of HR experience (automobile dealership experience preferred).
- Freshers with strong HR knowledge may also apply.
