1. Deep Knowledge of Exam Formats

Fully understands both IELTS (Academic & General) and PTE Academic
Knows question types, scoring criteria, and time management techniques
Can clearly explain differences (e.g., human scoring in IELTS vs AI scoring in PTE)

2. Strong English Proficiency

Excellent command of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency
Can model high-level speaking and writing answers
Helps students improve all 4 skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking

3. Clear Understanding of Scoring System

Knows band descriptors for IELTS (Task Response, Coherence, etc.)
Understands PTE scoring algorithms (fluency, pronunciation, content, etc.)
Gives accurate feedback and predicts scores realistically

4. Personalized Teaching Approach

Identifies each student’s strengths and weaknesses
Adapts lessons accordingly (e.g., more speaking practice for shy students)
Sets realistic study plans and goals

5. Effective Communication Skills

Explains concepts in simple, easy-to-understand language
Patient and approachable
Encourages students to ask questions and practice freely

6. Strong Feedback & Correction Skills

Gives detailed feedback on writing and speaking
Corrects mistakes constructively (not discouraging)
Provides actionable tips for improvement

7. Focus on Exam Strategies

Teaches time management tricks
Shares shortcuts (e.g., skimming/scanning for reading, templates for writing/speaking)
Conducts mock tests under real exam conditions

8. Tech-Savvy (Especially for PTE)

Familiar with computer-based testing tools
Trains students using real or simulated PTE software
Helps with microphone technique, typing speed, etc.

Uses updated and authentic practice tests
Recommends reliable resources
