Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) harnesses the power of data to drive robust analytical insights that inform some of Pfizer's most critical business questions. With colleagues across the globe, Commercial Analytics team's rigorous analytical expertise is depended on as the compass and decision support for the enterprise. Our dynamic, exciting team of subject-matter experts comes from diverse backgrounds and experiences, including data science, digital analytics, finance, market research, and consulting. As a team, we collaborate to turn data into meaningful insights that will have a direct impact on patient's lives and the future of Pfizer as a data-driven organization.

The Manager, Vx Data Product Engineering will own and manage key Data Products essential to the success of Vaccines Data Strategy, including

Business Account Construct (BAC)
CORE Data Assets (e.g. Sales/Shipments, Contracting, Pharmacy, Claims, etc.)
Vx Foundational Models (e.g. APS, Pub/Pvt Split, Mfr Loyalty, Central Purchasing, Abrsyvo Split)
Vx Incentive Compensation

This role will partner closely with key stakeholders across Data Strategy & Management (DSM), Performance Analytics & Insights (PAI), Digital, Master Data Management and third-party vendors to propel U.S. Vaccines past all competition by pioneering unrivaled data, analytics and AI that boldly redefine best-in-class and relentlessly advance adoption of and access to life-saving vaccines. The ideal candidate brings a strong consultative mindset, commercial analytics domain expertise, and the ability to influence and drive innovation through agile, data-driven practices.

Primary:

Vx Commercial Data Ecosystem: Engineer and maintain portions of the U.S. Commercial Vx data asset ecosystem to ensure data operations are maintained with data quality, data integrity, and data availability supporting 500+ U.S. Vx commercial data users.
Vx Foundational Capabilities: Maintain and proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing Vx specific foundational capabilities (e.g. APS model, RSV split model, Public/Private split model, Central Purchasing model, and Manufacturer Loyalty model)
Performance: Enable U.S. Commercial Vx performance reporting and Sales Force Incentive Compensation programs using high quality Vx specific business data assets.
Customer: Manage U.S. Commercial Vx customer backbone or Business Account Construct (BAC) to ensure customer data is uniformly defined to ensure consistency across the entire commercial organization from HQ analytics to sales pull through.

Secondary:

Partnership: Partner closely with CMO ISE, CMO Data Science, Vx OE, and Digital teams to identify new Vx specific business data assets to support the short- and long-term strategic priorities of U.S. Vaccines.
Innovation: Pioneer new capabilities using Gen AI and other advancements in the AI space to enable lightspeed decision making across the U.S. Commercial Vx BU.

Required:

BA required, MS preferred, relevant fields include but are not necessarily limited to operations research, data science, statistics or computer programming
4+ years (BA) or 2+ years (MS) of experience in data strategy, data management and/or commercial analytics, ideally in the biopharma or healthcare industry
Deep understanding of key data types/sources used for vaccines commercial analytics
Robust knowledge of core data integration and data model design approaches
Proven experience building analytic data engineering pipelines
Strong analytical and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to translate business needs and analytical approaches into data asset design
Key skills
Proficient in data engineering code (SQL, Python, scripting, etc.)

Ability to train | teach others

Preferred

Experience building scalable data product solutions spanning multiple brands, therapeutic areas and business units, leveraging synergies to maximize efficiency
Experience in partnering with Digital/IT functions to implement robust, production-level data products
Experience with Agile methodologies and data product management frameworks
Experience working with third-party data vendors in staff augmentation and/or project-based models
Key skills
