Role Overview
We are looking for a DevOps & MLOps Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to manage, automate, and scale our GIS and AI/ML infrastructure.
You will be responsible for CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, database optimization, container orchestration, production monitoring, and deployment of geospatial AI models.
The role requires close collaboration with backend engineers, GIS developers, data scientists, and system architects.
Key Responsibilities
DevOps
· Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Django, FastAPI, and Python applications
· Deploy and manage PostgreSQL/PostGIS and GeoServer environments
· Containerize applications using Docker and manage Kubernetes orchestration
· Configure Nginx, SSL, reverse proxy, and API gateways
· Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible preferred)
· Manage Linux servers (cloud and on-premise)
· Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
· Ensure database optimization, backup, replication, and high availability
MLOps
· Deploy and manage GIS-based AI/ML models (imagery, raster analytics, spatial prediction)
· Build automated model training and deployment pipelines
· Implement model versioning and monitoring
· Manage GPU-enabled infrastructure for deep learning workloads
· Ensure scalable inference APIs and production reliability
Required Skills
· 3+ years in DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure Engineering
· Strong Linux administration skills
· Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
· Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and GeoServer
· Experience deploying Django/FastAPI applications
· Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
· Experience deploying ML models into production (desirable)
· Working knowledge of AWS / Azure / GCP
Preferred Skills
· Experience handling large geospatial datasets
· Familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
· Experience with MLflow, DVC, Kubeflow, or similar tools
· Exposure to spatial AI workflows
· Experience managing GPU clusters
