Full job description

We are seeking a skilled Sr. QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be well versed in testing enterprise product applications, including APIs, backend, frontend, web, and mobile applications.

The candidate must have experience in Automation Testing, Manual Testing, Database Testing, Performance Testing, Web API Testing, and Web & Mobile App Testing.

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding functional and end-to-end test cases/scenarios and automating them from scratch. You should be able to analyze failures and support the product development team in identifying defects at an early stage.

We are looking for a resource with high self-motivation, ownership mentality, strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Job Responsibilities:

Review and understand product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Plan, design, and execute test cases and test scenarios
Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing
Test REST APIs for data accuracy, validations, error handling, and edge cases
Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools
Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes
Contribute to improving overall QA processes and test coverage
Create comprehensive test documentation, reports, and metrics to monitor testing progress and outcomes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role in SaaS-based environments.
4+ years of experience in software quality assurance
2+ years of experience leading and building a QA team plus processes.
Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, QASE, Robot Framework, etc.
Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks such as Cypress, TestCafe, or similar.
Strong knowledge of database management systems such as MSSQL, mongodb etc.
Good understanding of both white box and black box testing methodologies
Proficiency in testing web applications built on DotNet, React.js, and mobile applications (iOS and Android Native).
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Experience in test automation using tools/frameworks such as Selenium, JMeter, Appium, etc.
Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Testim, Mabl, Katalon AI, Applitools, or similar AI-powered QA/automation tools.
Ability to use AI tools for generating test cases, writing automation scripts, analyzing logs, preparing QA documentation, improving test coverage, and accelerating defect investigation.
Awareness of AI-assisted testing, self-healing automation, visual testing, and intelligent test generation is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
