Full job description

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced GCP Administrator with 5 years of hands on experience in managing monitoring and optimizing Google Cloud Platform GCP environments
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability security performance and cost efficiency of cloud infrastructure while supporting development and operations teams

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and manage Google Cloud Platform GCP environments including compute storage networking and services
Configure and manage GCE GKE Cloud Storage Cloud SQL BigQuery and VPC
Implement and manage IAM roles service accounts and security policies
Monitor system performance availability and costs using Cloud Monitoring Logging and Billing
Perform incident management root cause analysis and issue resolution
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform Deployment Manager
Ensure compliance with security governance and best practices
Manage backup disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Support application deployments and CI CD pipelines
Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency
Collaborate with DevOps Security and Application teams
Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures SOPs

Technical Requirements:

5 years of experience as a GCP Administrator or Cloud Administrator
Strong hands on experience with
Google Compute Engine GCE
Google Kubernetes Engine GKE
Cloud Storage Cloud SQL BigQuery
VPC Load Balancers Cloud DNS
Experience with IAM security best practices and networking concepts
Proficiency in Terraform or Infrastructure as Code IaC
Experience with Linux administration
Working knowledge of CI CD tools Jenkins GitHub Actions Cloud Build etc
Experience in monitoring alerting and logging
Understanding of HA DR scalability and fault tolerance
GCP Certifications
Associate Cloud Engineer
Professional Cloud Architect
Experience with multi cloud or hybrid cloud environments
Knowledge of Docker Kubernetes internals
Scripting experience Bash Python
Exposure to compliance standards ISO SOC2 GDPR
