Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Architecture & Strategy
● Own end-to-end Salesforce architecture (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, integrations)
● Define scalable data models, environment strategies, and system design standards
● Make decisions on configuration vs custom development vs integrations
● Ensure the platform supports both client delivery and internal operations
● Establish a long-term architectural vision aligned to business growth
Product & Platform Architecture
● Own architecture for internal and client-facing products (e.g., idealAMS, plugins, accelerators, custom apps)
● Define reusable design patterns, frameworks, and modular architecture to support product scalability
● Ensure consistency across product, platform, and client implementations
● Drive productization of repeatable solutions to improve delivery efficiency
● Partner with business and delivery leaders to align technology with product strategy and roadmap
AI & Innovation Enablement
● Identify and drive opportunities to embed AI/automation capabilities into Salesforce and related platforms
● Evaluate and implement AI use cases (e.g., predictive insights, automation, copilots, workflow intelligence)
● Guide teams on responsible and scalable use of AI technologies
● Stay ahead of emerging trends (Salesforce AI, LLMs, automation tooling) and translate them into practical applications
● Enable teams to adopt modern, AI-assisted development practices
Technical Leadership (Dev + QA)
● Lead and mentor Salesforce Developers and QA team members
● Establish development standards, testing frameworks, and release processes
● Drive a quality-first engineering culture across all builds and deployments
● Implement and manage CI/CD, version control, and release governance practices
● Build a high-performing, scalable engineering team structure
Delivery & Solutioning
● Translate business and client requirements into robust technical designs and scalable solutions
● Act as the technical lead across implementations and programs
● Partner with delivery teams to ensure efficient, high-quality execution
● Reduce rework through strong upfront architecture, planning, and design governance
Systems & Integrations
● Design and manage integrations between Salesforce and external platforms
● Own API strategy, data flow architecture, and system interoperability
● Ensure data integrity, governance, and consistency across systems
● Define integration patterns for scalability and maintainability
Governance & Scalability
● Define platform governance, access controls, and environment strategy
● Monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and technical debt
● Establish documentation standards, architectural guardrails, and best practices
● Ensure systems are built for long-term maintainability and growth
What We’re Looking For
● 7–10+ years in the Salesforce ecosystem (architecture + development)
● Proven experience leading engineering teams (Development + QA)
● Strong expertise in:
○ Salesforce data architecture
○ Apex, Lightning, Flows
○ API integrations and distributed system design
● Experience in consulting or client delivery environments
● Ability to think beyond Salesforce into broader platform and product ecosystems
● Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns and scalable system design
Nice to Have
● Salesforce Architect certifications
● Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset)
● Exposure to AI/ML tools, Salesforce Einstein, or LLM-based solutions
● Experience building or scaling products, accelerators, or reusable platforms
● Exposure to data and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
