About the Role
Convosight is looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer to build scalable, high-performance systems powering our AI-driven SaaS platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Rust, Python, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and AI/LLM integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build high-performance microservices using Rust and Python.
- Develop and optimize AI-powered features leveraging LLMs and GenAI technologies.
- Design database architectures and optimize query performance.
- Integrate third-party APIs, AI models, and cloud services.
- Collaborate with Product, Data, AI, and Frontend teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
- Ensure system reliability, security, scalability, and observability.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
Must-Have Skills
- 4+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong expertise in Rust and Python.
- Hands-on experience building production-grade APIs and microservices.
- Experience with LLMs, GenAI, RAG, Vector Databases, and AI Agent frameworks.
- Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and scalable architectures.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and database optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, testing, and code quality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar AI ecosystems.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
- Exposure to MLOps and AI model deployment.
- Experience working in high-growth SaaS startups.
