Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping for client entities across industries.
- Review ledgers, journal entries, vendor/customer reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment under Ind AS / AS (as applicable).
- Monitor revenue recognition, expense provisioning, and accruals.
- Prepare periodic MIS, financial statements, and management reports.
- Ensure accounting hygiene and documentation standards.
- 2. Regulatory & Tax Compliance (India Focused)
- Supervise and review:
◦ GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, annual returns, reconciliations)◦ TDS/TCS compliance and returns◦ Advance tax workings◦ Income tax return preparation◦ ROC filings (AOC-4, MGT-7, DIR filings etc.)
- Monitor compliance calendar and internal cut-offs.
- Identify compliance risks and proactively escalate.
3. Year-End Closure & Finalisation4. Audit Facilitation5. Client Management6. Process & Team Management
- Lead year-end financial closure process.
- Prepare schedules and working papers for audit.
- Ensure balance sheet clean-up (provisions, receivables, payables, fixed assets, inventory reconciliation).
- Assist in tax audit preparation and coordination.
- Support preparation of financial statements and disclosures.
- Act as primary point of contact for statutory auditors.
- Provide reconciliations, documentation, and explanations.
- Close audit queries within agreed timelines.
- Ensure minimal audit adjustments by maintaining discipline during the year.
- Interact directly with founders/CFOs/accounts heads.
- Conduct periodic review calls with clients.
- Advise clients on accounting process improvements.
- Ensure timely billing support and scope discipline.
- Review work of accounting executives.
- Build SOPs and documentation standards.
- Improve automation (Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks, ERP tools).
- Train junior team members.
- Drive deadline discipline.Required Qualifications
- CA (Inter / Final) / Qualified CA preferred
- ORMBA Finance / M.Com with 5–8 years relevant experience.
- Strong working knowledge of:
◦ GST laws◦ Income Tax Act◦ Companies Act compliance
- Experience handling statutory audits.
- Exposure to startups / multi-entity groups preferred.Experience
- 5–6 years in accounting & compliance.
- Must have handled multiple entities simultaneously.
- Experience in a CA firm / advisory firm strongly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / ERP systems.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot, lookups, reconciliations).
- Understanding of compliance portals (GSTN, MCA, Income Tax).

Work Location: In person
