Associate Engineering Manager (12 years to 15 years)

Role OverviewResults-driven Associate Engineering Manager with strong expertise in Java backend development and extensive experience in designing scalable microservices within high-volume payment ecosystems. Proven ability to lead engineering teams, drive technical excellence, and deliver secure, resilient, and high-performance systems in Agile environments. Experienced in mentoring engineers, managing delivery timelines, improving code quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Business stakeholders.

Architecting scalable Microservices using Java & Spring Boot
Event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka
Payment gateway integrations & transaction processing systems
RESTful API design & secure system architecture
ISO 8583 & Payment lifecycle workflows (Auth, Capture, Refund, Reversal)
PCI-DSS awareness and secure coding practices

Leading and mentoring backend engineering teams
