Position Overview:
We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer Intern Male / Female with a minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience, particularly in WordPress development and website deployment. This role is ideal for someone who has practical exposure to WordPress page builders (WPBakery, Elementor) and is comfortable working with hosting environments, SSL configuration, and domain setup.
The intern will work closely with the development team on live projects and gain real-world experience in building, deploying, and maintaining websites for international clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesWordPress Development
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using WPBakery and Elementor.
- Work with WordPress themes and plugins, including theme customization, plugin installation, and configuration.
- Ensure websites are responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for performance.
Hosting, Domain & SSL Setup
- Configure domains, hosting accounts, and SSL certificates.
- Deploy and manage websites on GoDaddy and Hostinger servers.
- Handle website migrations, backups, and basic server-side troubleshooting.
Front-End Development
- Convert design mockups into functional web pages using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
- Implement contact forms, CAPTCHA, and interactive elements.
PHP & Database Support
- Assist with PHP-based customizations and minor backend logic.
- Work with SQL databases for content handling and basic data management.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Test websites for functionality, browser compatibility, responsiveness, and security.
- Debug and resolve issues in coordination with the development team.
Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with designers and senior developers.
- Stay updated with WordPress updates, plugins, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of practical experience in web development.
- Strong hands-on experience with WordPress (mandatory).
- Working knowledge of WPBakery and Elementor.
- Experience with domain setup, hosting setup, and SSL configuration.
- Hands-on exposure to GoDaddy and Hostinger hosting environments (mandatory).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
- Basic PHP knowledge (added advantage).
- Understanding of SQL databases.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, or Canva is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
