- Develop and implement the institution's strategic vision, mission, and long-term growth roadmap.
- Lead institutional planning and transformation initiatives.

- Identify opportunities for expansion of academic programs, centres, schools, and strategic partnerships.
- Lead policy formulation and institutional reforms aligned with NEP 2020.
2. Academic Leadership
- Provide leadership and direction to Principals, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, and Academic Coordinators.
- Ensure high standards of teaching-learning processes across all programs.
- Promote Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and learner-centric pedagogies.
- Oversee curriculum development and periodic revision.
- Ensure academic policies are effectively implemented.
- Monitor academic performance indicators and student outcomes.
- Foster interdisciplinary learning and academic innovation.
3. Research, Innovation and Consultancy
- Develop and implement the institutional research strategy.
- Promote a strong culture of research and scholarly excellence.
- Encourage faculty publications in Scopus, Web of Science, ABDC, and UGC CARE indexed journals.
- Facilitate externally funded research projects and consultancy assignments.
- Promote patent filing, copyrights, and intellectual property generation.
- Establish Centres of Excellence and interdisciplinary research clusters.
- Encourage student-led research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
- Strengthen collaborations with universities, research institutions, industries, and government agencies.
4. Examination and Evaluation Leadership
Chief Supervisory Authority for Examination Systems
- Provide strategic oversight to the Office of the Controller of Examinations.
- Ensure transparent, secure, and efficient examination processes.
- Monitor examination planning, scheduling, conduct, evaluation, and result declaration.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of question papers and assessment systems.
- Establish examination policies and standard operating procedures.
- Promote digital examination and evaluation systems.
- Ensure timely resolution of examination-related grievances.
- Strengthen academic integrity and anti-malpractice mechanisms.
5. Accreditation, Quality Assurance and Rankings
- Lead all accreditation and ranking initiatives.
- Provide strategic direction to IQAC and quality assurance functions.
- Ensure compliance with NAAC, NBA, NIRF, AICTE, UGC, BCI, NCTE, PCI, COA, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor implementation of quality benchmarks and best practices.
- Lead institutional audits and quality reviews.
- Oversee preparation of AQAR, SSR, and other accreditation reports.
- Improve institutional rankings and national visibility.
6. Faculty Leadership and Talent Development
- Lead faculty recruitment, retention, and succession planning initiatives.
- Establish faculty performance management and career progression systems.
- Promote Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), certifications, and higher studies.
- Build leadership capabilities among academic administrators.
- Foster a culture of mentoring, collaboration, and professional excellence.
- Ensure fair and transparent faculty appraisal systems.
7. Student Success and Campus Experience
- Champion student-centric policies and practices.
- Enhance student satisfaction, retention, progression, and employability.
- Strengthen mentoring and counselling systems.
- Oversee student welfare, discipline, grievance redressal, and support services.
- Promote leadership development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and extracurricular engagement.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
8. Industry Engagement, Corporate Relations and Placements
- Develop strategic partnerships with industry and corporate organizations.
- Strengthen internship and placement opportunities.
- Promote industry-integrated learning and experiential education.
- Facilitate industry-sponsored research and consultancy projects.
- Enhance employability initiatives and career development programs.
- Build strong alumni and employer engagement mechanisms.
9. Governance and Administration
- Provide overall leadership to academic and administrative functions.
- Ensure effective governance and decision-making structures.
- Oversee implementation of institutional policies.
- Promote transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Drive process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
10. Financial and Resource Management
- Participate in institutional budgeting and resource allocation.
- Ensure optimal utilization of financial, human, and physical resources.
- Support revenue generation through grants, consultancy, executive education, and strategic partnerships.
- Review major infrastructure and capital expenditure proposals.
- Promote financial sustainability and responsible resource management.
11. External Relations and Institutional Representation
- Represent the institution before universities, regulatory authorities, accreditation agencies, government bodies, industries, and professional organizations.
- Build strategic national and international collaborations.
- Enhance institutional visibility and reputation.
- Promote the institution through conferences, forums, academic networks, and public engagements.
