X-Ray Technician

Location: Raiganj, West Bengal
Organization: Jeevan Rekha Hospital
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Rotational

About Us

Jeevan Rekha Hospital is a NABH-certified, 220-bed tertiary care multi-speciality hospital dedicated to delivering quality healthcare services. We are seeking a skilled and responsible X-Ray Technician to join our Radiology Department.

Job Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as prescribed by physicians.
Prepare and position patients correctly for radiographic examinations.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
Operate and maintain X-ray equipment according to established protocols.
Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control practices.
Verify patient information and maintain accurate imaging records.
Assist radiologists and consultants in diagnostic procedures when required.
Ensure image quality standards are maintained for accurate diagnosis.
Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate with the maintenance team.
Adhere to NABH standards and hospital policies.

Eligibility Criteria

Diploma/B.Sc. in Radiology, Medical Imaging Technology, or X-Ray Technology from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the appropriate council, if applicable.
Knowledge of radiation protection and imaging protocols.
Good communication and patient-handling skills.

Experience

Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
Prior experience in a hospital or diagnostic center will be preferred.
