Full job description

Job Location:
INDIA - Chennai

Summary of the profile:
Develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes.

What you’ll do here:
Analyze the Rules Engine functionality and business objective with the goal of developing an acute awareness of the business logic and desired outcomes.
Determine test cases to ensure thorough testing of applications/objects.
Aid in the test automation process by writing test scripts.
Work with the business and project management team to understand testing requirements.
Create and communicate the process for testing approach.
Establish testing artifacts, including templates and process flows.
Create a test plan(s).
Author and execute test cases addressing functional, integration, and regression testing. Identify methods or tools to improve or automate testing procedures.

What you will need to thrive:
Well versed in Selenium.
Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed.
Select and develop appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test Automation / Manual, e.g., data- driven testing.
Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites.
Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases.
Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
Familiarity with IIS, TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, SQL Server, Security.
Familiarity and experience with VMWare virtualization environments.

Education:
Any degree with 3+ Years of experience in QA field using web based Technology is desired.
