Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven Senior Software Engineer who can build scalable products from the ground up and take ownership of core engineering systems. You will work closely with founders, product teams, and designers to build a world-class SaaS and marketplace platform.
This role requires strong technical depth, product thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs
- Build high-performance full-stack web applications
- Architect systems capable of handling multi-tenant SaaS workflows
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security
- Build reusable and scalable frontend components
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment systems, messaging platforms, and cloud services
- Design database architecture and optimize query performance
- Participate in architecture decisions and product roadmap execution
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-grade code
- Work closely with product and design teams to ship features rapidly
- Mentor junior developers and establish engineering best practices
Technical RequirementsBackend
- Strong experience in Node.js / Python / Java
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security
Frontend
- Strong experience in React.js / Next.js
- Experience building responsive and scalable frontend architectures
- Deep understanding of state management and component architecture
Database
- Strong experience in PostgreSQL / MySQL
- Query optimization and schema design
- Experience with Redis or caching systems
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Experience with AWS / GCP / Azure
- Docker and containerized deployments
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps fundamentals
- Monitoring, logging, and production deployment management
Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience working on SaaS products
- Experience with marketplace platforms or multi-vendor systems
- Knowledge of AI integrations, workflow automation, and recommendation systems
- Experience integrating WhatsApp APIs, payment gateways, and notification systems
- Strong system design and scalability understanding
