infrastructure. From integrations with banking / FX systems to real-time settlement, we solve the
complexities of multi-currency flows, compliance, and liquidity for enterprises.
As part of our team, you’ll join talented engineers building the backend systems and APIs powering
money movement, third-party integrations, and operational tooling.
Role: Django Developer
Location
● Remote (depending on region)
What You’ll Do
● Design, build, and maintain Django (and Django REST Framework) services that underpin our
payments infrastructure
● Integrate with external services/APIs such as Utila, XE, Binance, or other FX / liquidity /
banking providers
● Implement background processing and asynchronous workflows using Celery (or similar job
queue systems)
● Develop authentication and user-management flows using Amazon Cognito (or related AWS
auth services)
● Architect and maintain infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, SNS/SQS, etc.)
● Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of all backend systems
● Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, product, compliance, and operations teams
● Monitor, profile, and optimize performance of APIs and background jobs
● Write tests, perform code reviews, and maintain high code quality
● Mentor more junior backend engineers
● Document systems, APIs, and integrations
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
● 5+ years of professional Python / Django / DRF experience
● Strong experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
● Solid expertise working with Celery (or equivalent) and background task patterns
● Experience integrating with third-party financial / FX / banking APIs (or similarly complex
external services)
● Familiarity with AWS — provisioning infrastructure, deploying services, managing databases,
queues, etc.
● Experience with authentication/authorization systems (Cognito, federated identity, OAuth,
etc.)
● Deep understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing efficient
queries
● Familiarity with message queues, pub/sub, event-driven architectures
● Strong testing culture: unit tests, integration tests, CI/CD pipelines
● Excellent debugging, diagnosis, and performance-tuning skills
● Good software architecture judgment and systemic thinking
● Strong communication skills; collaborative mindset
Nice-to-Haves (Pluses)
● Experience with financial domain, payments, currency exchange, compliance
● Experience with other AWS services — Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, etc.

● Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
