The Advanced X-Ray SystemsAdvanced X-Ray Systems division is a newly established division as part of Vehant Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Its mission is to build a talent pool of expertise in India to establish a design house to create the next generation of Security Baggage Scanners with novel geometries. The organization has a clear and long term strategic vision for the division that revolves around establishing itself as a innovative player in the security scanning domain and is committed for sustainable strategic technology development to propel industry leading solutions with a vision of AtmaNirbhar Bharat – Make in India for the World.
We intend to create a very lean yet agile team of professionals to co-conceive of and co-create the next generation of Advanced X-Ray Systems in the baggage screening sector of security screening applications. We are actively hiring for technical resources spanning a wide range of specialties connected to X-Ray/CT technology backgrounds including but not limited to Systems Engineering, Image Quality, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering., Firmware design, Software designs and architects, High-performance compute algorithm designers, and UI/UX designers. The overall activities would begin with conceptualization and culminating in engineering product design including DFX (Manufacturing/Service/Reliability.). Technology development would encompass a wide array of domains spanning X-Ray physics, Model-Based Systems Engineering, Digital Twin designs, rapid prototyping, signal processing, image generation chain and experimental data analytics and research.

Role/Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Systems Engineer (Simulation), in Advanced X-Ray Systems division at Vehant Technologies in Bengaluru. The Systems Engineer (Simulation) shall be responsible for designing and developing physics based systems simulation platform architecture, to create digital twins for Advanced X-Ray system geometries for baggage screening for security applications. The role would require a learner’s mindset with the ability to rapidly learn and deliver on topics governing X-ray physics and systems architecture to explore and evaluate feasibility of novel system geometries. The role involves detailed assessment and finalization of systems design requirements based on simulations in early conceptualization and creation of software design platforms using model-based systems engineering.
Qualifications and Desired Skills
- Masters in Engineering MSc., PhD or equivalent, with a strong systems engineering research mindset and adept in documentation of work
- Knowledge of principles of CT Systems Engineering and Simulation platforms
- Knowledge of working principles and safety with X-ray Systems is a must
- Knowledge of CT systems engineering, end-to-end know-how of design principles with impact on final image quality would be a significant plus
- Ability to create system level requirements and translate into simulation platform design requirements
- Analytical bent of mind to “see through” large stash of data/information to identify and isolate key aspects that are critically relevant
- Ability to maintain clarity of thoughts while navigating complex technological landscapes and design evolution
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, Javascript, Java
- Knowledge of AI-based software designs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Must demonstrate willingness to constantly learn and adapt to growing needs of the domain with a growth mindset
- This is a Senior level career opportunity and the candidate must possess and demonstrate an attitude to learn and share knowledge and be able to mentor others in a team
- Experience with simulation packages like Geant4, TOPAS, MCNP, etc

Travel Note
This role while stationed in Bengaluru would entail travel to Vehant Technologies headquarters in Noida on a need basis. The travel percentage is indicative only and can be subjected to change based on organizational requirements.
