As a Salesforce Developer, you will be a key part of our global IT organization, responsible for the development, enhancement, and quality assurance of our Salesforce platform. In this hybrid role, you will combine software development and testing to deliver stable, high-performing, and user-friendly solutions.
You will work closely with business departments, architects, and international teams, actively contributing to the continuous optimization of our CRM landscape.
Your new area of responsibility:
Salesforce Development:
Design, develop, and implement customized solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, JavaScript, Lightning Components, and Visualforce. Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and high-performing.
Customization & Enhancement:
Create and maintain triggers, classes, batch processes, and REST/SOAP interfaces to extend platform functionality. Integrate external systems and APIs to optimize business processes.
Integration & System Landscape:
Support the integration of Salesforce into the existing IT landscape (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, middleware platforms) and contribute to the implementation of end-to-end business processes.
Requirements Implementation & Collaboration:
Work closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Ensure clear and structured documentation of developments.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Design and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure functionality, integration, and performance. Perform regression testing and support user acceptance testing while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Issue Analysis & Optimization:
Identify, document, and resolve defects and performance issues. Collaborate closely with developers and administrators to implement sustainable solutions.
Continuous Improvement & Support:
Stay up to date with Salesforce development, releases, and best practices. Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development and testing processes.
Your profile:
Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
Several years of hands-on experience (3–5 years) in Salesforce development and/or testing
Strong knowledge of:

Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning Components

Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP)

Salesforce data model and security concepts
Experience in:

Development and enhancement of Salesforce applications

Testing methodologies (manual and automated) and tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Salesforce DX)

Integration of third-party systems and interfaces
Strong analytical thinking, structured working style, and high quality orientation
Team player with the ability to work in an international environment
Fluent English skills (minimum C1 level)
Nice to have
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I or higher)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience in a B2B software or SaaS environment
Basic knowledge of adjacent systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP)
Experience with Copado (CI/CD for Salesforce) or comparable DevOps tools in the Salesforce ecosystem
