We currently have an immediate need for a Project Coordinator (Contractor) in India.
About the Role: The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the end-to-end planning and execution of Microwave/UBR/FWA/RAN deployment projects within the telecom network rollout. Working closely with the Project Manager, Engineering, and Vendor teams, the role ensures timely, cost-effective, and technically compliant delivery of MW/UBR links that provide high-capacity backhaul for 4G/5G network expansion. This position requires strong technical understanding of MW/UBR/RAN transmission systems, exceptional coordination ability, and effective communication across multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination
-
Assist the Project Manager in developing project schedules, scope, and milestones for MW network rollout.

Coordinate with central and circle project deployment customers and internal teams to align project priorities and resource requirements.

Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, progress trackers, and site readiness reports.

Track key project KPIs such as MW link deployment rate, RFS status, and overall project deployment.

Technical & Execution Support
-
Coordinate Line of Sight (LOS) surveys, MW link design reviews, and RFI & RFS planning in collaboration with planning and field teams during I&C, Field-AT, NOC-ATP and HOTO.

Ensure availability and accuracy of Bill of Material (BOM) and facilitate procurement of MW/UBR(A6/B6), FWA and RAN equipments.

Support field teams during installation and commissioning to ensure compliance with engineering parameters (EIRP, RSL, Fade Margin).

Facilitate acceptance testing (AT) and ensure timely completion of link integration and RFS documentation.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to track progress, manage dependencies, and resolve field-level issues promptly. Also, assist in Vendor billing and vendor payments.

Monitor vendor performance against SLA metrics (First Time Right, delivery timelines, and site quality).

Coordinate with internal departments (Planning, Regulatory, and O&M) for issue resolution and handover readiness. Also audit IR compliances with regards to vendors.

Maintain and update dashboards and progress reports on MW deployment status (Planned, Installed, Integrated, AT Completed, RFS).

Support preparation of presentations and executive summaries for NHQ management review.

Ensure all project activities comply with company policies, HSE standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications & Competencies:

Diploma / bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, electronics/electrical engineering or a related field.

3-7 years of experience in project coordination or similar role.

Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools in Telecom industry.

Exposure to the Reliance Telecom deployment Project is an advantage.

Understanding of telecom rollout lifecycle, Installation & Commissioning, acceptance testing (AT), NOC-ATP and HOTO processes.

Strong documentation and communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
