ABOUT THE ROLE
TRooTech Business Solutions is searching for a Senior SAP Architect & Consultant to lead and grow our SAP Managed Services practice. This role demands broad and deep expertise across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and adjacent cloud solutions (SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud, SuccessFactors). You will lead pre-sales engagements, architect enterprise SAP solutions, oversee delivery, and act as the primary SAP expert for TRooTech's mid-market and enterprise clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pre-Sales & Client Acquisition: Collaborate with the sales team on RFP/RFI responses, effort estimation, client presentations, demos, and solution proposal creation
- Solution Architecture: Design comprehensive SAP solutions covering S/4HANA (Finance, MM, SD, PP, PM, QM), SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud, and integration with third-party platforms
- Technical Leadership: Define development standards, enhancement frameworks, integration patterns (SAP PI/PO, CPI, BTP Integration Suite), and SAP Basis guidelines for delivery teams
- Client Advisory: Lead business process workshops, fit-gap analyses, and executive-level solution reviews with client stakeholders
- Delivery Governance: Oversee SAP implementation lifecycle (Activate/ASAP); conduct design reviews, test strategy definition, and go-live support
- Capability Development: Build internal SAP practice capabilities including reusable assets, delivery methodologies, and staff enablement programs
TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Expert knowledge of SAP S/4HANA — both On-Premise and Cloud — covering core modules: FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, PM, and QM
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform): Integration Suite, Extension Suite, and SAP Build
- Proficiency in SAP ABAP development, OData services, BAPI/BADI, User Exits, Smart Forms, and SAP Fiori/UI5 development
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration approaches: Greenfield, Brownfield, and Selective Data Transition
- Knowledge of SAP integrations: SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), and third-party iPaaS tools
- Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW/4HANA, and embedded analytics in S/4HANA
- Understanding of SAP Basis: system landscape, transports, client management, and performance tuning
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE
- Deep functional knowledge across SAP FI/CO (financial accounting, controlling, asset accounting), MM (procurement, inventory), and SD (order-to-cash)
- Ability to conduct Blueprint/Explore workshops and produce functional specifications and Business Process Master Lists (BPMLs)
- Experience with data migration (LSMW, BODS, migration cockpit) and data quality strategies
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, or SAP Concur is an added advantage
CERTIFICATIONS
- SAP Certified Application Associate in at least one core module (FI, CO, MM, SD, or PP) — Required
- SAP Certified Technology Associate: SAP S/4HANA System Administration — Preferred
- SAP Certified Development Associate: ABAP with SAP NetWeaver — Preferred
- SAP Certified Solution Architect — Highly Preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
8–9 years of total IT experience with at least 5–6 years in SAP implementation, consulting, and architecture roles. Experience with full-cycle S/4HANA implementations and at least 2 end-to-end projects is required. Prior experience in an SAP Partner or MSP environment is strongly preferred.
